One of the members of Parmalee was in the kitchen making a fried bologna sandwich, when he just randomly thought of the word! He says it sounds like something you’d say when you see a hot girl walk by- so they guys went to work and created a song around it- hoping to make ‘Hotdamalama’ the next big thing!
