The duo Smithfield dates back to their teen years, growing up together in Texas, Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith are beginning to build momentum. As a duet act, they want everyone to know they are just friends – much like Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum. Jennifer and Trey are ready to launch their career, even though they both separately tried out for American Idol years ago and were cut because neither had a compelling backstory.
