Should you be able to control your kid’s future?

“Our son will be a senior next year so we’ve been pushing him to start looking into colleges.
He wants to go for drawing. We’re concerned that an art degree would be a waste of money.
What can we do to lead him in a different direction? We don’t think paying for art school is worth it.”
