Do you hire your untrustworthy brother?

“I started my own business a few years ago. My brother, who has always been the screwup in our family, lost his job last year and he’s still unemployed.
Dad keeps telling me to hire him, but I’m not sure if I can trust him, even though he has the qualifications.
Should I give him another chance or is my gut right?”
