Dustin Lynch relied on blind auditions to recruit a singing partner for his latest radio single, ‘Thinking ‘Bout You.’ He didn’t want name recognition or Instagram following to sway a decision. Dustin Lynch and his team received a half-dozen submissions, landing on Canadian country singer MacKenzie Porter. McKenzie Porter is actually a rising Big Loud recording artist tapped for this year’s CMT Next Women of Country tour! The song was originally included on Dustin’s album ‘Tulahoma’, as a duet with Lauren Alaina. However, due to record company release schedules, if he wanted to put the song out now, he had to pick a duet partner that was not already committed to a music release schedule with another label, that would conflict with the songs’ impact on the Country Radio charts.
