Is it OK to smoke weed with kids around?

“My 14 year old son told his friends that his Mom and I smoke weed at night and I got a nasty message from a fellow parent on facebook. She thinks that we shouldn’t ‘do drugs around our kids’ but we don’t think it’s any worse than drinking a few beers at night. We always do it in the kitchen or outside.”
