A story made headlines last week about a mother who paid her son $1,800 to stay off of social media until he was 18. She said she was inspired by a challenge she heard on the radio called the “16 for 16” where a mother paid her daughter $1,600 to stay off of social media. She says she did it so her son could spend more time focusing on his sports and grades.
Would you try this with your children? How much would you pay them to stay off of social media while in high school? If you’re in high school, how much would it take for you to stay off of it?
