Morgan Wallen’s new song ‘Don’t Think Jesus’ tells the story of a young singer who’s seeking salvation after living too wild. It may sound autobiographical, considering the headlines over the past year. However, the song was not written by Morgan- even though he admits that many people can relate. The song is a similar take on the Waylon Jennings classic ‘I Don’t Think Hank Done It This Way’, as writers Chase McGill, Jessi Alexander and Mark Holman write ‘I Don’t Think Jesus Done It This Way.”
