Jackson Dean (“Don’t Come Lookin'”) just released Live At The Ryman featuring two new songs, including this one, “1971”! This song, with the others on the album, was all recorded in one take at the famous Ryman Auditorium. He told ABC Audio, “It’s just a whole bunch of stuff that makes sense together that feels good, and you kind of get the gist of what’s happening. It’s just straight-up American rock. But we put that on there because I wanted it. It was worthy of existence.”
